Why do the colors in my proof vary from the actual imprint color?

Colors appear differently on every monitor. The colors shown in proofs cannot be guaranteed to represent the final item or imprint color. We will print the color you request. If you have concerns regarding the outcome of your imprint color, we can arrange a pre-production sample for you for most imprinted promotional items. Additional charges may apply, and a pre-production sample may add to your lead time. Pre-production samples are not available for rush orders. If you would like to request a pre-production sample, please let us know at the time you place your order.

What kind of artwork can I send? What if I don't have artwork?

Vector or high-resolution artwork is required. A .jpeg file usually is not vector art. If you don't have vector art, we can clean up what you have for a nominal fee. If you don't have artwork just let us know what you want and we will create it for you.

Do you keep my art on file?

YES! Your digital artwork and order details will be kept on file. We want to make ordering simple for you.

Where do I send my art files?

Can I use a specific PMS color for my imprint?

In most cases yes. Due to imprinting methods on some items you cannot specify a PMS color. There may be an additional charge for a PMS match. If you require a PMS color please specify this at the time of ordering.

Will I see a sample of my imprint before it goes to press?

Yes, we always send a pdf proof via email for approval prior to printing unless it is an exact reorder. Spec samples (actual printed samples) are often available for an additional charge. Large orders may qualify for free spec samples.

Why are the L's bold on my .pdf proof?

Bold L's in .pdf proofs is caused by the compression of artwork for web viewing, the text only appears bold when zoomed out, please zoom in to 600% or more to verify that your text is correct and the L is not actually bold.

I need design work.

We offer design work for all printing and promotional items. You can have a simple or complex logo designed or we can design an imprint for an ink pen, padfolio, brochure, or booklet. We have a full service graphic department for all your printing or promotional needs.

Shipping & Delivery
Are shipping and handling included?

Unless specified otherwise freight is not included in the price you see. If you would like a freight quote please let us know the quantity, item you are interested in, and the zip code it will be shipped to.

How long will it take to get my order?

Production times vary by product. Production times are listed on almost every item. This is the number of days to produce the product after proof approval and does not include shipping time. At the time you place your order please let us know when you require the item and if you will require expedited shipping.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept checks and MasterCard or Visa. You can also apply for terms. We will send you a credit application if you would like terms. Please allow additional time for us to complete a credit check and set up your account.

General Ordering Information
What is a setup charge?

A setup fee (screen charge, die charge, tooling charge, etc.) is charged on most items. These are not art charges. This charge is for the labor and time required to setup and tear down the equipment or machinery that imprints your custom logo on the product. Most setup fees are per color. Ex. if you have a three color imprint your charge will be the setup fee x 3.

Can I get a sample of a product before I order?

Absolutely! You can request a sample for most promotional products. However, there will be a fee on expensive items, or for shipping charges from the factory. If an order is placed sample charges are applied to your order.

What if I need an item faster than the regular production time?

Please contact us. Most promotional items are available quicker with rush charges. You will have to authorize expedited shipping for your rush order.

What if I receive more or less than I ordered?

Due to printing processes you may receive 10% under/over. You will be billed for the quantity you receive. If you must have an exact quantity please let us know at the time you order as there may be an additional fee.

Can I change or cancel my order?

You may change or cancel your order anytime prior to production. Once your item has entered production we can no longer accept a change or cancellation. If we produce art for you you may still be billed for any charges incurred.

What is four color process printing?

Four-color process is used when an imprint calls for full-color artwork or includes photographs, due to its ability to print a wide range of colors. When creating the art for production, the image is rendered in overlapping combinations of inks using the CMYK color model. CMYK stands for cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. The colors are produced by using the proper proportional mix of these four ink colors. While the four-color process is excellent for reproducing images the colors produced by the CMYK procedure will not yield the exact shades that PMS color matching does, therefore we cannot guarantee PMS matching when using this process on any of the colors but especially on red/maroon.

What are Business Forms?

I get this question all the time. Business forms are printing of any form used in business. An example of these are labels, checks, business cards, brochures, flyers, postcards, invoices, letterhead, envelopes, presentation folders, continuous forms, unit set or snap out, Bill of Lading, Weight Certificates, any printing be it 1 color or full color imprint with foil or just ink. Any form, booklet, decal, or label your business uses we can print it. Our printing is of high quality at a very competitive price.

What if I'm unhappy with my order?

Custom imprinted items and food gifts cannot be returned. However, if the product is defective or the imprint is not what you approved we will make it right. Please contact us within 3 business days of receipt. In the case of blank items returns are on a per item basis and the reason you wish to return. We want our customers to be happy so if you are unsure about a product please contact us with your questions prior to ordering.
